The submission deadline for Software Engineering 2007 (SE2007) is
approaching fast. There are only three weeks left for potential
participants to submit their contributions.
The City of Hamburg (represented by Joerg Draeger, Ph.D. (Cornell U.),
Senator for Science) acts as patron for the conference.
The conference will be accompanied by a select social program.
Amongst others there will be a conference dinner at the Suellberg
Restaturant, where you will enjoy a breathtaking view on the river Elbe
and the harbor. We have also planned an exclusive reception by the
Senate of Hamburg.
Among the invited keynote speakers for the Software Engineering Forum
are Erich Gamma and Clemens Szyperski.
Goals of the conference:
Software Engineering 2007 will be a platform for exchanging experiences
and research results in the area of software development. It addresses
both software practitioners and researchers.
Current trends and issues in software engineering will be presented and
discussed as scientific papers, experience reports, workshops and tutorials.
Topics:
* Software architectures
* Application software development
* Migration of legacy systems
* Open source systems
* Software engineering for logistics
* Technical computing
Submissions on these and other topics are welcome in both English and
German.
***********************************************************************
Submissions:
* Scientific paper reports on research results in software engineering.
These are limited to 12 pages and will be reviewed by the program committee.
* Experience reports deal with case studies and professional software
projects. Short submissions of max. 4 pages are selected by the PC.
