Several funded PhD positions available in

Service-Oriented Computing and Model-Driven Software Development

at the Distributed Systems Group, Institute of Information Systems,
Vienna University of Technology, Austria

Starting on 1. February 2008 or as soon as possible after this
date, we are seeking PhD candidates to work on


Compliance-driven Models, Languages, and Architectures for (web) services


in the context of an European FP 7 research project.


The ideal candidate holds a master degree (or equivalent) in Computer
Science or related field, is able to consider both conceptual and
practical/implementation aspects in her/his work. Preferably, s/he has a
background in one of the following fields:

       * Model-Driven Software Development
       * Domain-Specific Languages (DSLs) and Language Engineering
       * Web Services/Service-Oriented Computing


The full-time position (40 hours per week) is for a time period of 3
years.
