The Institute of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics of the
University of Bern (Switzerland) invites applications for the
position of

	Professor of Computer Science

starting September 1, 2008. We are seeking internationally
established researchers with preference for candidates with
research and teaching expertise in one or more of the following
areas:

	- Computer Graphics,
	- Visualization and Human-Computer Interfaces,
	- Virtual Reality

In addition to establishing a research group, the successful
candidate is expected to contribute to a share of the teaching in
the Bachelors and Masters Program in Computer Science and to the
collective administration of the institute. Candidates should be
prepared to teach bachelors courses in German within a period of
two years. Formal prerequisites include a "habilitation" or
equivalent scientific achievements. Applications should include a
curriculum vitae, a publications list, copies of the most
significant recent publications and an outline of current and
