Following the successful resumption of last month, TOOLS EUROPE will be
organized again at ETH Zurich in the first week of July 2008 (June 30th
to July 4). The conference covers all modern approaches to software
development, with a special but not exclusive emphasis on O-O and
components. It combines a selective refereeing process and an
overwhelming concern with quality with a strong practical emphasis.
The Call for Papers (PC chair: Richard Paige) will be published in the
next few weeks but we encourage potential authors to mark the date and
start preparing their contributions. Besides regular papers there will
also be a request for tutorials and workshops.
One of the novel features of TOOLS 2008 will be to serve as a host for a
number of software-related conferences. We offer the possibility of
handling all the organizational aspects of your conference so that you
can concentrate on the content. Already included among the TOOLS-hosted
conferences are MT 2008 (Model Transformation) and SEAFOOD 2008
(Software Engineering Advances For Outsourced and Offshore Development),
and we expect several others to be added. If you are interested in such
hosting just drop me a note. There will be a more detailed announcement
regarding co-hosted workshops.
