RESEARCH ASSOCIATE - NETWORKS AND DISTRIBUTED SYSTEMS - UNIVERSITY OF  
OSLO

The research group for Networks and Distributed Systems at the  
University of Oslo, Department of informatics is seeking candidates  
for 1 research associate at M.Sc. level. The position will be  
assigned to the MUSIC project (Self-Adapting Applications for Mobile  
Users in Ubiquitous Computing Environments). Applicants should have a  
masters degree and preferably a background in networks and  
distributed systems. Good candidates with other relevant background  
may also apply.

established links to national and international research  
institutions. We conduct collaborative research projects that are  
funded by Norwegian research funds, and the European Community.

Knowledge of Norwegian is not a prerequisite for applying. English is

A PhD position is a regular job with social benefits and with salary  
starting from 316.200 NOK per year.
The salary of post doc positions is currently starting from 389.600  
NOK per year.
