Dear colleague,
We would like to draw your attention to the Models 2008 call for tutorials
whose submission deadline is approaching rapidly - next April 28.
Because the advantages offered by MDE are open and generic, the principles
of MDE are becoming adopted in numerous domains other than software
engineering (e.g,, semantic web, real-time distributed and embedded systems,
robotics, and various scientific domains, such as physics). The MODELS 2008
conference is interested in tutorials that address state-of-the-art modeling
ideas. Examples of topic areas for tutorial proposals are contained in the
following non-exhaustive list:
. applying MDE in software development
. modeling techniques for specific domains
. advances in the practical use of MDE techniques
. applying MDE technologies in non-traditional (e.g., not software)
domains
. modeling engineering and process management
. tools to support modeling and MDE
. modeling for re-engineering and legacy evolution
This may be a good opportunity for you to present the work you realize in
the scope of MDE.
If you plan to submit a proposal, the submission content should include the
following:
. Title
. Abstract (200 words)
. Keywords
. Presenters (name, e-mail address, affiliation, address, and a
brief biography)
. Tutorial objectives
. Target audience
Proposals should be sent to tutorials08 at modelsconference.org before the
April 28, 2008 deadline. A confirmation email will be sent to acknowledge
that the proposal was received.
Best Regards,
Xavier Blanc
