The International University in Germany (www.i-u.de), located in
Bruchsal (Germany) is a privately financed, English language institution
that strives for academic excellence in Information Technology and
Business Administration. It offers accredited degree programs (Bachelor
& Master) in Information Technology, Business Administration and
Communication Management.

IU invites applications for the following Research Associate (doctoral
candidate or post-doctoral) position:

Research Associate in Software Engineering

Tasks:
- Teaching support, especially in the area of "Software Engineering"
- Research work in the area of "Software Engineering", especially in
  "Model-Driven Development" or "Empirical Software Engineering"
- Contribution in industrial cooperation

Prerequisites:
- A master degree in computer science, respectively a Ph.D. in this
area.
- Knowledge and Experience in the area of software development and in
  particular in "Software Engineering"
- Ability to work independently
- Participation in research projects
- Good command English, (written and oral)

Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas is
useful, but no prerequisite:

- Industrial software development
- Teaching
- Model-driven Development
- Service-orientation
- Resource Awareness

Applications must contain a motivation letter, a detailed CV (including
a list of publications), and a relevant recent publication (or thesis).
